The cost of higher education has surged more than 538% since 1985 while the consumer price index has jumped 121%, meaning the education costs are rising 4.5x higher than inflation. Other countries offer free college or low-cost programs, including Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, France, and Denmark.
